Lincolnshire has some of the poorest access to nature in the country — and we’re working to change that.

Through the Lincolnshire Wild Fen project, we aim to create a space that not only restores vital habitats for vulnerable species like Turtle Doves, Great Crested Newts, and Water Voles, but also reconnects local communities with the natural world.

Our vision includes two distinct but complementary areas:

  • A people-focused site, designed to inspire connection with nature through walking trails, mindfulness spaces, natural play areas, community allotments, and outdoor learning.

  • A nature-focused reserve, where land is managed specifically to support wildlife, create rich wetland habitats, and protect biodiversity for future generations.

Together, these spaces will help bring nature back to the Fens — and bring people back to nature.
